I firmly believe, with a faith that trembles in my bones, that men suffer in our patriarchal society. The men in my life, whom I love and want to protect, are discouraged to show weakness. No asking for help, no tears, no collaboration, no losing.
For women: Do not have human ambition.
For men: Do not have human emotion.
For all of us: Do not be whole.
